Salt has a bad reputation because the bleached stark white salt we are all used to eating, is guilty of many health problems. The Redmond Natural Mineral Rock Salt we sell is extracted from deep within the earth, it’s crushed, screened and packaged without any bleaching or refining. It actually has a pinkish & yellowish hue. The flecks of colour come from more than 50 natural trace minerals found within the salt naturally.
